"The fact
that one can even produce, direct and release
such a piece of work in western society
is a testament to our freedom"

        This
orally erotic movie [easily containing the most graphic dialogue ever
filmed] is inspired by the writings of the Marquis de Sade. It is 'oral'
in the sense that the sexual action is explicitly discussed and described,
while the 'visual action' is - by comparison - low keyed. The film culminates
with the arrival the uptight mother of a recently deflowered virgin.
In attempt to show her mom the sexual excitement she's missed, the daughter
prepares an orgy that forces her mother to commit sodomy, incest, lesbianism,
          and adultery simultaneously.
        De
Sade's original La Philosophie Dans le Boudoir was wildly
erotic pillow-talk with explosive meanspirited sexual tirades and intellectual
discourses like his famous Encore un Effort [which makes a case
for murder, heresy and promiscuity]. While numerous other directors
have used this book as their inspiration (notably, Jacques Scandelari
          with
BEYOND LOVE AND EVIL and Jess Franco with many projects from
          EUGENIE
          DE SADE to JUSTINE),
Tony Guzman probably comes closest to the Marquis' original intention.
