Nerdy
junk collector Furuike spends his time gathering discarded electrical
gadgets from other people's trash. One day, he finds an antique kotaysu
(a box heater) and takes it home. Inadvertently, Furuike discovers the
heater's terrible secret: It's a man-eating kotaysu!
Internet
critic Movie-Misfit writes: "Battle Heater is absolutely
insane. It plays like a live-action cartoon. As the film rolls on, and
the deaths mount up, the heater in question starts growing fangs and more
power, becoming larger and deadlier by the minute. Lots of fun, lots of
laughs, and completely crazy, Battle Heater is a fantastic film!"
Pappara
Kawai and Sun Plaza Nakano are two leading members of the outrageous Japanese
punk band Bakufu-Slump. They star in this film. And that's why,
in some circles, it's known as Bakufu-Slump in Battle Heater.
The movie also features Akira Emoto, the founder of the Tokyo Kandenchi
Playhouse and future lead of LAST
FRANKENSTEIN (1992).
